Upcoming Music Events

Wednesday 11th December - Pickwick Christmas Carol (in-school event, pupils only) - We will be joining with the other 5 Pickwick schools in the North Dorset Hub as we hold our first Pickwick Christmas Carols. We will connect with the other schools, then each school will then sing a Christmas song of their choice with all others as the audience. We will be singing ‘Sing up! It’s Christmas!'

Choir Performance at The Mellowes Nursing Home Fete - December 7th 2024

Despite storm Darragh's efforts to deter us from venturing out on Saturday, many of the choir members were still able to make it to the Mellowes Care Home for their Christmas Fete. We sung in front of an avid audience and did ourselves proud yet again!

Choir Performance at Riversmeet Christmas Fayre - November 7th 2024

A huge thank you to everyone in the school choir who performed on Sunday at the Riversmeet Leisure Centre at the Magic Of Christmas Fayre. The children's singing was sensational and they were a true credit to the school. Thank you too to all the parents, friends and other family members who came to support us all. We are already looking forward to our next public engagement on the 7th December (at the Mellowes Care Home).

Brazilian Drumming Workshop - October 2024

We were extremely lucky to be joined by Felix and Ellen from the Rural Dorset Music who visited us to deliver Brazilian drumming workshops to everyone in school.
Everyone enjoyed listening to Felix playing his guitar and then joining in with playing as a Samba Band. Some children also enjoyed dressing up in authentic Brazilian costume.
